Why we love it
Interior BC powder, huge tree runs and a lap that doesn't seem to end. Quiet town, serious mountain.
Getting there
Kelowna International Airport is the closest major airport, about 200 km and 2.5 hours by road. Calgary is around five hours away along the Trans-Canada Highway through Rogers Pass. Winter driving conditions can be tough, so check road reports before you go.
Who it's for
Revelstoke is built for advanced and expert skiers. Steep tree runs, open bowls and the longest lift-served vertical in North America make it a freerider's dream. Intermediates can enjoy long groomers like the 15 km Last Spike, but beginners will find only a small learning area at the base.
Best time to go
January and February usually bring the deepest powder and the most consistent snowfall. March is great for longer days with plenty of snow still on the upper mountain. Early December can be good too, but the lower slopes often need time to fill in.
